2" Pennsylvanian Fossil Lycopsid Bract (Pos/Neg) - Kentucky

This is a 2" fossil lycopsid bract, collected from the Breathitt Formation, Kentucky. It is from the Late Carboniferous, Pennsylvanian aged forests that formed the coal shales of Eastern Kentucky and Ohio.

Both the positive and negative split are included, and both are accompanied by acrylic display stands. The largest half of rock measures 6.7 x 6.4" while the other half is 5.9 x 5.4".
