9" Two Piece Amethyst Geode - Morocco

This is a spectacular Amethyst geode from Tarazout, Morocco. It was opened and both the top and bottom half of the geode which fit together perfectly are included. The base is flat so that it displays nicely on a flat surface. Many of the amethyst crystals have a reddish tint to them due to hematite on the surface. A very cool display piece.
