3" Flourescent Fluorite Crystal - Morocco

This fluorite specimen was cleaved from a much larger section of fluorite in Morocco, though it retains the majority of its octahedral shape. On what could be considered the bottom of the specimen, there are small shiny pyrite crystals.

Under short and long-wave UV lighting, the fluorite fluoresces a brilliant violet-blue color.
