Huge Phareodus With Knightia - Just Under 10 Inches

This is a huge Phareodus testis, one of the more uncommon fish in the Green River Formation. It's just under 10 inches in length and has a 3 1/2 inch long Knightia just below it's tail. The fish is highly detailed and the orange preservation contrasts well against the cream colored matrix.

There is some minimal restoration work to the fish but this is typical of almost all large fish from the Green River Formation.
