7.1" Cretaceous Crocodilian Scapula - Hell Creek Formation - Montana

 


This is a nicely preserved scapula of a 66 million year old crocodilian. It was collected from the Hell Creek Formation of Carter County, Montana. There are a number of genres of crocodiles and alligatoroids described from this formation with the most likely suspect being Leidyosuchus.
