.33" Fossil Beetle (Carabidae) - Bois d’Asson, France

This is a partial fossil beetle (order Coleoptera, family Caribidae) collected from the Oligocene-aged deposits of Bois d'Asson, France. Both sies of the impression are included on this plate. The light-brown preservation contrasts nicely against rock. This is part of an old collection that we recently acquired.

This specimen comes with an acrylic display stand.
