3.7" Fossil Sycamore (Platanus) Leaf - Green River Formation
This is a very nice, 3.7" wide fossil Sycamore (Platanus wyomingensis) from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It's located on a nice thick slab of shale and comes with an acrylic display stand.
It comes the Green River Formation and the area of Uintah County, Utah. This is the same formation that is famous for producing well preserved fish fossils, but a different member and location.
