19.5" Plate With Four Trilobites, Cystoid & Crinoid - Rochester Shale

This is a very unique piece collected at Caleb's Quarry in the Rochester Shale of New York. It is a 19.5" wide slab of shale featuring a natural association of four trilobites (Dalmanites limulurus), a beautiful cystoid (Caryocrinites ornatus) and an elegant crinoid (Catatonocrinus halli). Three of the trilobites are dorsally preserved and one is ventral, with the largest being 2.8" long. The cystoid measures 7.5" long from the outstretched arms to the base of the stem.

This beautiful plate comes with a display stand.
