1.7" Cretaceous Fossil Fish Vertebrae In Rock - Morocco
This is a 1.7", four vertebra section from phosphate deposits, Khouribga, Morocco. This specimen is articulated vertebra still contained in the rock in which they were found. In addition to the vertebrae, there are several other bone fragments, including one on the reverse side.
There are a number of fish from the cretaceous seas in what is now Morocco. It is almost impossible to make an accurate identification from vertebrae
