1.08" Fossil Tiger Shark (Galeocerdo) Tooth - Aurora, NC

This is a tooth from the extinct tiger shark, Galeocerdo aduncus. It comes from the Lee Creek Phosphate Mine near Aurora, NC. This mine produces some of the most beautifully colored fossil teeth but unfortunately has been closed to collecting for several years now. Most of these tiger shark teeth are well an inch long, so this example is quite large.

Comes with a small acrylic case.
